Privileges of joining IS ranks

Duhok, Iraqi Kurdistan – Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Caliph of the Islamic State (IS), issued a statement on Thursday saying that members of IS will be provided with furnished houses and an amount of $1200 each.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, al-Baghdadi’s grant will include all members of the Islamic State, an al-Qaeda offshoot, who intend to get married.

Noteworthy, IS group provides its members with monthly salaries. Every local member of the extremist group receives $400 every month as a fixed salary.Those who are married receive $100 for each wife, and the group’s members who have children receive $50 per child. Moreover, IS members are provided with fuel for their cars without being charged.

IS members from foreign nationalities receive $800 as a monthly salary, beside the other privileges as the local (Syrian, Iraqi) members. These amounts were verified by IS-linked sources.
